Their monitoring is interactive. I can check on my cell or internet oh how my house is doing @ anytime ! Other companies charge you an arm as a result leg for this feature.bottom line, ge simon xt is a great system to install, battery backup can be mod. to add more batteries (daisy chained for longer backup power) can use both landline as a result cellular for interaction as a result all wireless ! Peace of mind !
